Well, thats the image that popped into my head when I read this week that Walt Disney World in Florida objects to the expansion of gambling in the state and is doing everything it can to fight plans to build three new casinos in South Florida. The state government is desperate to generate revenue for state coffers and is mulling the idea of passing legislation to allow the building of these mega casino resorts. H

News from 2012 Aussie Millions
The Aussie Millions is the only major global poker event held in Australia. It is hosted by Crown Casino in Melbourne. The poker tournament is held alongside another global sporting event which is the Australian Open Tennis Grand Slam Event. These two events were combined last year by the pairing of poker professional Gus Hansen and tennis professional Caroline Wozniacki. That affair is now over.

Stricker strikes in Hawaii
Steve Stricker became the first PGA Tour winner of 2012 with a three-shot victory at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Maui.
The 44-year-old carried a five-stroke advantage into the final round at Kapalua’s Plantation Course and although Scotsman Martin Laird, Webb Simpson and Jonathan Byrd all put him under significant pressure, he did enough to close out the win.
A birdie at the 18th gave Stricker a closing round of 69 – his fourth sub-70 score of the event as he finished 23 under.
Stricker had started the day nervily, with no birdies in his first seven holes and a bogey at the par-four sixth.

Casino Patron Punched by Police [Video]
Patrick Poisson got fresh with a waitress and ended up with a broken nose and two broken ribs. He allegedly slapped the backside of a female employee while visiting the MGM Grand Casino in Detroit.
As he was being escorted out of the casino by the cops, it appears Poisson started talking back and got bopped in the nose and was knocked out cold. (Watch the surveillance video below!)
The officer claims Poisson took the first swing but missed, so the fuzz fired back with his fast fist.
